Brownies in less than an hour
Ingredients
- 1 ox Duncan Hines Classic Butter Recipe Fudge Cake Mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1 stick of softened butter
- 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease and flour 13” x 9” baking pan.
- Combine cake mix, eggs and butter in a large bowl.
- When well blended, add chocolate chips and pecans.
- Spread into baking pan.
- Bake 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Check for doneness in several locations as it possible stab a melted chocolate and think the brownies are not done.
- Cool, cut and serve.

Note: These brownies are superior warmed with a dab of ice cream or crème freché, like I need to tell you that!
Note: I have made these brownies with 8 oz of chocolate chips. The dough is super stiff but if you carefully spread it into the pan, chocolate super-charged brownies are the result. Yum.
