Butterscotch Bourbon Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 3 T bourbon
Instructions
- Cook brown sugar and butter in a large heavy saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, 3-4 minutes or until butter melts and mixture is smooth.
- Gradually stir in cream. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constatly, 3 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in bourbon. Cool for 20 minutes.
