This was Grandma B’s favorite German Potato Salad.
German Potato Salad
Ingredients
- 6-8 medium sized potatoes cooked and diced
- 4 slices of bacon cooked and crumbled
- 1 onion diced

- 6 Tbsp Wesson Oil
- 3 Tbsp flour
- 6 Tbsp sugar
- 3 tsp butter
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 3/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1 1/2 cup water
- --------------------
- 4 1/2 Tbsp sour cream
Instructions
- Place potatoes, bacon and onion in a large bowl and toss together.
- Place oil, flour, sugar, butter, salt, pepper, cider vinegar and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add sour cream. Mix well with potatoes mixture and serve warm.
